PRESS RELEASE

J. RIVER OPERATES SYNACOR, TELEVISA,
AND MEDIANET DIGITAL SERVICES

Acquisition creates the largest digital retail aggregator on the web

Minneapolis (December 22, 2008): For the last six years, J. River has been quietly building software media players for digital distribution partners. Many of these have been for MediaNet Digital (formerly MusicNet). Now J. River has assumed operating responsibility for several partner services, with content from MediaNet. These services include La Curacao, Synacor and its partners, and others. (For a list of J. River digital media partners, see www.jrmediacenter.com/partnerplayers.html .)

The new agreement allows J. River to rapidly deploy digital media services for corporate partners, with minimal integration required. They can also include other services such as MediaGiants, Audible, and Amazon. J. River expects to add one or more movie services in 2009.

J. River's own Performer store has just opened, offering subscription and download services directly to consumers. The next store, to be released in early 2009, will bear Televisa's Esmas brand on a new U.S. music store.
